Our Wish Is Granted! Disney Reveals Aladdin’s First Look With Will Smith As A Smooth Talking Genie

Ever since the first teaser of the live-action version of our childhood classic Aladdin released, we’ve (or our inner 10-year-olds) been eagerly waiting for a glimpse of something more. And finally, our ‘wishes’ have been answered.

Disney released a special look of the ‘musical romantic fantasy adventure film’, better known as our childhood dreams come to life.

Directed by Guy Ritchie, the short trailer takes us back to the (ill)fated caves and the enigmatically evil Jafar (Marwan Kenzari).

But of course, the highlight is and always will remain our adorably disheveled, street-smart hero, Aladdin (Mena Massoud).

The trailer also gives a glimpse of Princess Jasmine (Naomi Scott), accompanied by her beloved pet tiger Rajah.

And of course, to fulfill all of Aladdin’s wishes (and some of ours too) is the beloved Genie, played by none other than Will Smith.

Looks like it’s time to brush up on Agrabah facts because the magical carpet is ready and waiting.

The movie releases on May 24,
