When Jaime Lannister was first introduced in Game of Thrones, his character threw a lot of people off… literally. He came across as a conniving conspirator (it didn’t help that he looked exactly like Prince Charming from Shrek). But over the course of 7 seasons, a lot more has changed for the Kingslayer than just his hairstyle, and it’s been quite fascinating to watch this character and story arc develop.
A YouTube channel called Shahan Reviews explains this journey pretty well, in a video aptly titled Jaime’s Worst Fear. You revisit why he killed the Mad King, and also get an illuminating insight into why he left aside reason to make a dash for Daenerys when she was grounded. Watch the video below.
