While accepting the best film award for his hit film Kapoor and sons at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, Fawad Khan revealed that he took to acting just to make money.
The actor who has a degree in computer engineering confessed that he switched careers in hope of making better income.
He told ANI,
“I couldn’t make money out of coding. I was a terrible computer engineer. I was down and I became an actor to make money.”
He went on his thank for all the love and support he has been receiving from the Indian audience. He added,
“I think being honoured with this award, not just on this platform, but also on so many other Indian platforms, goes to show how much love and warmth there is in the audience all around the world,”
