F.R.I.E.N.D.S was one of the biggest parts of our years growing up – all over India. And yet, somehow, there have been no Hindi, and I mean truly desi videos about it. Well, that’s about to change. Two kavis on YouTube, via PSK Originals put pen and paper together to create hilarious, and completely on point if I may say so myself, poetry about our favourite show of all time.
This video by a duo that calls themselves Pun, Parag aur Rajni, sums up all the plot points of our beloved ‘I’ll Be There For You’ gang’s lives – from ‘Ross and Rachel khelte rehte hain on-and-off’ to how ‘Chandler kare safai under Monica ka khauf’ – and they do it with the flair of a true kavi.
Yep. Finally someone’s put beautiful Hindi words to the ‘Central Perk ke couch ki kahaani’ and mind you, they did not forget to mention how ‘dus season tak Gunther ne haar na maani’. Maan gaye kavi-kaviyitri ji!
