The night was long and full of terrors, but finally, the result is in sight – HBO has revealed the date for the final season of Game of Thrones and it’s only four months away!
Yes, Game of Thrones will officially return for their final season on HBO in April 2019.
HBO shared the news via social media, with the hashtag #FORTHETHRONE.
Well, the seven seasons long, at times heartbreaking, and always intriguing, journey was for the coveted Iron Throne after all.
Although an official teaser video has also been released, there is no footage of the new season in the video. Rather it is a culmination of scenes from all the last seasons – arriving at a bloody end!
Guess it is time to start watching the seasons again!
