After He Reached Out For Help, Haryana Govt Comes In Aid Of ‘Peepli Live’ Actor Sitaram Panchal

Sitaram Panchal, who has acted in films like Peepli Live, Paan Singh Tomar and Jolly LLB2, has been suffering from cancer for the past three years. 

Recently, through a Facebook post, where he urged people to help him with the finance of his treatment, Sitaram Panchal’s condition came into the limelight.

Cine & TV Artistes Association (CINTAA) put up a Facebook post urging people to help him in whichever way they can. A crowd funding program was also started to collect funds for his treatment on Ketto

Haryana government has now come to the actor’s aid and has promised financial help for his lung and kidney cancer treatment. 

Panchal is from Jind district in Haryana. Director Ashwini Chaudhary has been in touch with the Haryana government to arrange these funds for the actor. The director tweeted:

He told Hindustan Times that the government has already transferred ₹ 5 lakh to Panchal’s account and will offer more money through other schemes.

The director also said, “Other members of the industry are also coming forward to help Panchal’s family. From Haryana, actor Randeep Hooda called me and said he was going to help them.”

Wishing the veteran actor a speedy recovery.
