This Video Shows All The Iconic Hollywood Scenes That Inspired ‘La La Land’

For someone who loves cinema, La La Land was a spectacle worth cherishing. From breathtaking dance sequences to melodious songs and deep emotions, this movie took us to old school Hollywood and how!

However, before you point out, we already know how La La Land took elements from Hollywood’s classic musicals and made them its own. 

They picked up iconic sequences from various Hollywood classics and made them their own. For instance, Ryan Gosling spinning around the lamppost was inspired from the Gene Kelly moment in Singin’ in the Rain and Emma Stone singing and dancing with her girls before hitting the clubs was just like the sequence in Grease.

But all said and done, it was a film that catapulted us into the over-the-top and wondrous era of Hollywood’s musicals.
