The Season 7 finale is done and dusted. The Great War has begun, but what about the questions the finale left us with? Will the Unsullied, Khals, armies of the North and whatever armies the Lannisters spare – be able to fend off the Night King? What does the Night King want? How will Bran influence the Great War? Who will ultimately sit on the Iron Throne?
And it will take the showrunners another 2 years to answer these questions. Yes, you read that right – Game of Thrones Season 8 will premiere in 2019. That is nearly 2 years from now. And while I’m miserable about having to wait that long for the answers, some others expressed them rather creatively:
I just hope that the writers come up with something truly spectacular which eclipse our already sky-high expectations from the last season. Good luck D&D!
