Jackie Shroff’s Performance In This Emotional Short Film Is Superb & Shouldn’t Be Missed

Isha Jalan

Remember the short film Mehrooni with the half-knit red sweater featuring Sharib Hashmi? The director of the heartwarming movie is back with another emotional drama featuring Jackie Shroff titled Makhmal.

Written and directed by Faraz Ali, the short film explores the relationship between a father and his daughter, who now lives in the legal custody of her mother. Shroff looks so convincing as the father forced to live separately from his daughter, that it made me teary eyed. Watch the heart touching video here:

Warning: Keep some tissues handy.

The soulful background score is given by Sagar Kapoor and the title track has been sung by Shafqat Amanat Ali.
