The ‘Khandaani Shafakhana’ Trailer Starts A Conversation Around India’s Fear Of Talking About Sex

Sex is a topic kept hush-hush in most Indian households because tauba tauba log kya kahenge?

But thankfully Bollywood is finally coming around to spread the message that it is perfectly alright and important to be discussing sex. And the latest in the list is Khandaani Shafakhana, starring Sonakshi Sinha, Varun Sharma, Annu Kapoor and it’s yo boy Badshah. 

From the looks of the trailer, the movie seems to be about this young girl who is asked to look after her uncle’s sex clinic.

Now as if discussing sex in small towns isn’t a big enough deal already, talking about it to a girl brings all kinds of issues.

That is when she meets Badshah, who is a rockstar, and pleads him to make a song, asking people to share their sex problems.

We don’t know what happens next but it looks like a promising plot (gotta say, though, that the movie is giving us strong Vicky Donor vibes). You can watch the complete trailer here:
