Kyaa Kool Hai Hum.
We heard of it, we saw it, and we regretted it. So then they boldly decided that they could make one more, and another regrettable mistake called Kyaa Super Kool Hai Hum was born . Balaji Motion Pictures are not one to learn from their mistakes and have come up with Kyaa Kool Hai Hum 3. With tasteless, suggestive dialogues and an opening sequence that shouts that this movie is going to make parodies of other popular movies to make itself ‘stand out’, we know it’s going to be horrible. It also claims to be India’s first ‘Porn-com’. If you guys know what that means, please let us know.
What irks me most is that senseless movies like these, that make no contribution to either Indian cinema or society, get the clean chit from the Censor Board and for what? Whereas, movies like Angry Indian Goddesses that genuinely make a point and are sending out a bigger message are asked to cut scenes because of frivolous and trivial reasons.
Why is it that a movie which clearly objectifies both women and men in the grossest way possible isn’t asked to snip out scenes? On the other hand, the Censor Board couldn’t handle two people kissing in Spectre.
The so-called movie plot revolves around two ‘Kool’ boys, Tusshar Kapoor and Aftab Shivdasani (He’s still acting?) who are going to be porn stars in this third sequel (no holds barred there). With two actresses who were cast just for their bountiful blessing, this movie is just what soft porn would be like.
The cinematography is so bad that in one scene, it seems like Tusshar Kapoor’s head has been cut and pasted on another man’s body. With no regard to aesthetics, this movie focuses on just 3 things primarily – boobs, the V that forms when a girl opens her leg at a poolside (like really?) and the ding-dong that keeps popping up on the screen too much!
