Vikramaditya Motwane’s Lootera released 6 years ago but the music of the film created by Amit Trivedi with lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya is still just as refreshing. The film was loved by many but wasn’t a huge commercial success. Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha gave beautiful performances in the period film that was based on O. Henry’s short story The Last Leaf.
Amit Trivedi’s musical genius has earned him the title of the next A. R. Rahman and coupled with Bhattacharya’s lyrics, every track of this album turned out to be a gem.
The soul stirring music of Lootera is still etched in our hearts and there is no way we can ever get over these tracks.
