The list for 2019 International Emmy Nominees has been announced and Netflix’s Hindi originals, Lust Stories and Sacred Games have earned a spot.
Director Anurag Kashyap, who worked on both Lust Stories and Sacred Games, shared the news on his social media.
These series have together won three Emmy nominations – Lust Stories for Best Miniseries, Sacred Games for Best Drama, and Radhika Apte for Best Actor (Lust Stories).
Both Lust Stories and Sacred Games had brought the kind of bold, original content that was an instant hit with the audience. Here’s hoping these nominations turn to wins.
