The trailer for Amazon Prime’s latest Hindi original series, Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar’s Made In Heaven released today and looks like it’s time partake in wedding festivities.

Zoya Akhtar, Nitya Mehra, Prashant Nair, and Alankrita Shrivastava come together to direct an apparently explosive series on all that goes behind crazy, rich, weddings.

The series apparently focuses on wedding planners, Arjun Mathur and Sobhita Dhulipala who run a wedding planning company Made In Heaven that caters to creating the dream wedding for every couple.

From delving into their own personal lives to the lives of the families they are hired by, the series focuses on how, marriages may be made in heaven, but the ‘reality on the ground’ is often, quite different.

With an extremely impressive ensemble cast featuring Jim Sarbh, Shashank Arora, Kalki Koechlin, and Shivani Raghuvanshi the expectations are most definitely running high.

The trailer also hints at a stellar supporting cast that includes the likes of Deepti Naval, Neena Gupta, Vinay Pathak, Pulkit Samrat, Manjot Singh, Amrita Puri, and Vijay Raaz.

Long before Made In Heaven, we had a glimpse into the world of wedding planning and ensuing craziness with the commercial potboiler Band Bajaa Baraat.

But with the current series, it appears that wedding planning is a front to talk about issues such as extra-marital affairs, same-sex relationships, and of course, some old-fashioned deceit for money and ingrained sexism.

The series will air on Amazon Prime from March 08.
