Madhavan Is Back With A New Web Series & We’re Jumping With Excitement Already

16 years ago, a young actor stole our heart with his effortless charm and made us believe in the innocence of a guy-next-door romance.

I am, of course, talking about Ranganathan Madhavan AKA Maddy, the actor who ventured into Bollywood with Rehnaa Hai Tere Dil Mein

India Today

He has always been the star of South Indian cinema, with movies such as Minnale and Alai Payuthey under his belt.

And set our hearts beating with his bashful smiles and soulful eyes in RHTDM, and then, again struck a chord with his portrayal of the typical engineer in 3 Idiots.

Be it his portrayal of an angry coach in the sports drama Saala Khadoos or a shy romantic in the Tanu weds Manu series, Maddy has always managed to impress us with his acting while simultaneously leaving us flustered with his subtle-yet-powerful sex appeal.

Even when he appears in a cameo role, such as in Rang De Basanti, he manages to leave a lasting impression!

And just like fine wine, this talented actor keeps getting better with age. It obviously helps that he rocks the bearded look like a pro!

And naturally we were bowled over when he shared this photo on Instagram:

However, what can be easily be one of the best news of the year, Madhavan is all set to make his way into our hearts again (not like he ever left) with his latest venture – a web series on Amazon Prime.

He shared the news on social media and his cute announcement was enough to set hearts fluttering!

Watch him unravel the logo of the web series, Breathe,  here:

Can’t help but replay this video again and again! Welcome back Madhavan! We’ve missed you and how!
