Noted Malayalam script writer T A Razzaq passed away at a private hospital here on Monday night. Hospital sources said Razzaq died while undergoing treatment for some ailment.
Razzaq (58), contributed hits like Perumazhakkalam to the Malayalam film world.
Razzaq, who began his career as a scriptwriter in 1991 for Mohanlal-starred Vishnulokam, worked for about 30 Malayalam movies.
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan condoled his demise.
“Razzaqs demise is a a big loss for Malayalam film industry,” he said.
