Mission Mangal, a movie eyed as another outstanding Akshay Kumar project, has taken off in quite some style raking in ₹29.16 crores on day 1 itself, reports News18.
The story of India’s successful launch of the Mars Orbiter released on August 15 and it seemed that the audience made full use of the Independence Day holiday.
Considering the film’s subject touched the feeling of patriotism and oneness by celebrating the humongous achievement, the movie went down very well with a diverse set of Indian audience.
Having earned ₹29.16 crores on day 1 already, Mission Mangal is Akshay Kumar’s highest-opening movie till date, reports a source.
The movie stars Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Kirti Kulhari and Nithya Menen apart from Akshay Kumar himself.
