All troubles regarding the release of film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil have now been resolved. But the solution hasn’t come cheap. Producers will now have to cough up Rs 5 crore as ‘penalty’ if they dare to engage with talent from Pakistan, says Maharashtra regional party MNS chief Raj Thackeray.

This decision came into play after Karan Johar, Mukesh Bhatt and Thackeray met Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis this morning.

After the peaceful meeting with the chief minister, MNS supremo, Raj Thackeray told the press, “Every producer who has cast a Pakistani actor must contribute Rs 5 crore to the Army welfare fund. While Pakistan has banned Indian content, why do we give them a red carpet here?”

He also said that producers will have to give in writing that they will not take Pakistani actors in their films in future.
