’My Name Is NOT Khan.’ Malaika Asks India’s Got Talent Team To Use Her Maiden Surname

Malaika Arora may have decided to not divorce Arbaaz Khan, but that doesn’t mean she has no wish to cut him off from her life on some level.

The Chaiyya Chaiyya actress told the team ofreality show India’s Got Talent to use her Maiden name only, thereby to formally address her as Malaika Arora.

“Malaika has clearly told the production and on-air team that she has to be addressed only as Malaika Arora on the show. She is very strict about it,” sources told SpotBoyE.

Clearly, Malaika does not wish to be associated with the ‘Khan’dan in some way or another.

It was earlier speculated that Malaika feels that if she signs the divorce papers, she will lose the privileges that come with being part of an affluent Khan family of Bollywood.

“Malaika lives with their son. All this while she was using Arbaaz’s surname and had never objected to it. But recently at an event when the host was about to announce her entry on stage she apparently requested the organisers not to add Khan in her name. At the last moment, the changes were made and the announcement was made as per Malaika’s wish,” a source told Indiatimes.
