Every character was unique and played an integral role in the show. When the show moved to SONY, it was renamed as The Kapil Sharma Show but it remained as popular as ever. A big part of the show was not just what we saw on stage but also the non-stop infectious laughter of Navjot Singh Sidhu.
But now, it seems like the laughter will soon become history. There was speculation recently that Sidhu was going to quit the show to concentrate on politics but this has now been officially confirmed.
Bollywood life quoted his wife while confirming the news, “Sidhu will now completely focus on Punjab politics. And that is why he has recorded all the shows till 30th September and has already said goodbye to the cast.”
Kapil’s association with ‘Paaji’ goes back a long way. They first met during The Great Indian Laughter Challenge where Kapil was a contestant, since then their cordial connection formed a sparkling chemistry.
