The Trailer Of Neerja, Based On The Infamous 1986 Hijacking, Is Out & It’s Gripping

Sonam Kapoor is majorly known for her glam image both on and off screen. While her movies have set the cash registers ringing at the box office in the past, critics have had their doubts about her acting skills. No wonder, the Aisha actress was on a lookout for that one powerful role which would catapult her to the coveted pedestal of seasoned actors.

Come 19th February, 2016, and all that is going to change! Sonam Kapoor has been busy filming her upcoming movie ‘Neerja’ alongside veteran actress Shabana Aazmi, based on the real life heartbreaking story of Pan Am air-hostess Neerja Bhanot who was killed while saving passengers from terrorists on board the hijacked Pan Am Flight 73 on 5 September in 1986.

But the wait is finally over as the trailer of the movie is out and Sonam Kapoor is absolutely shining with her portrayal of the youngest recipient of Ashok Chakra in India.
