Wedding bells are ringing for Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh, who is all set to get hitched after getting engaged to Rukhmini Sahay yesterday.
IANS reports, the actor got engaged to a girl arranged by his family, who is from aviation industry and families are known to each other. It was a closed affair and marriage is likely to happen next year for the couple.
Father of the Johnny Gaddar actor spoke to IANS about the girl,“Neil is quite old school in his ways and is a firm believer in the traditional school of thought when it comes to the sacred institution of marriage. He left the decision of finding his soulmate in his parents’ trusted hands and there couldn’t have been a better match for him than Rukmini. She reflects the values and traditions that Neil has been raised with and compliments him in every way possible. The celebrations to the final countdown have already begun.”
Bollywood Life also reported Neil Nitin Mukesh himself spoke to a tabloid saying,“My parents had been looking for a match for me when they came across Rukmini. She’s studied hotel management and works in the aviation industry. She is a simple, lovely girl, I am really happy.”
He added how he wants a simple wedding, understanding the essence of the institution rather than lavish display of wealth or status “Given a choice I’d prefer a small wedding in a temple or maybe even the beach but our parents will take the final call.”
Like Shahid Kapoor, Neil also went his family’s way and got himself arranged in a marriage. The actor is known for his roles in Johnny Gaddar, 7 Khoon Maaf ,most recently Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo and Wazir.
