Netflix’s New Trailer Of ‘Lust Stories’ Is A Beautiful Summation Of Our Fucked Up Love Lives

“You don’t hurt people you love. Intentionally you don’t. But you always hurt the people you love. You can’t hurt somebody you don’t love.”

This is how the trailer for Netflix’s second original Hindi movie, Lust Stories, starts, and it definitely invites questions on lust and love.

Getting together four very different directors– Karan Johar, Dibakar Bannerjee, Zoya Akhtar and Anurag Kashyap (who earlier collaborated for Bombay Talkies)– with four different stories, the common theme is ‘anything can happen’.

If the theme was not interesting in itself, the movie also brings together a stellar star cast that includes Bhumi Pednekar and Neil Bhoopalam; Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani and Neha Dhupia; Manisha Koirala, Sanjay Kapoor and Jaideep Ahlawat (who recently wowed us in Raazi); and Radhika Apte and Akash Thosar.

Embroiling stories about jealousy, infidelity, marriage and a unique reference to monogamous penguins, the trailer talks about lust and relationships, and everything in between.

Netflix’s first special, Love per Square Foot also brought to the forefront a slightly different story with an amazing cast of actors. This movie looks equally promising we can’t wait to watch it!

It releases on June 15.
