After months of waiting, finally, the trailer for season 2 of Sacred Games has released. And yes, it’s every bit as explosive, exciting, nerve-racking, and intriguing as the first season.
It does appear that season 2 starts Gaitonde’s journey from the exact point where it ended – as he is saved, or rather abducted, from the jail torture; only to land in an unknown hell.
Like the S2 character introduction earlier hinted, Ranvir Shorey and Kalki Koechlin join the foray – but the trailer hints that the two might be on opposite sides of the battle.
It also shows exactly how Gaitonde, ace assassin Malcolm, and mastermind Trivedi get together. And yes, it’s thanks to ‘Gaitonde ka teesra baap‘ aka Guruji aka Pankaj Tripathi.
And right at the end the trailer also gives a hint about why exactly season 1 begins with Gaitonde asking Sartaj Singh, ‘bhagwan mein maante ho?’. You can watch the trailer here.
