Now A Stand-up Comedian Accuses Kapil Sharma Of Plagiarism, Posts Video As Evidence

Trouble seems to be mounting for The Kapil Sharma Show as it has now been embroiled in a plagiarism row. 

Stand-up comedian Abijit Ganguly in a Facebook post has accused Kapil Sharma of lifting one of his jokes on Indian bowlers in the latest episode featuring women’s national cricket team players Mithali Raj, Veda Krishnamurthy, Jhulan Goswami and Harmanpreet Kaur.

Ganguly, who accused Kiku Sharda of copying the joke while trying to use Kapil Dev and Zaheer Khan’s name as examples, said that he was informed by a friend on Facebook and then on twitter by a stranger.

Even if it’s a coincidence, interestingly, as Abijit points out, the joke was cracked on the show just two weeks after he released his original episode on YouTube.

The Kapil Sharma show has been drawing quite a lot of flak of late. With these latest allegations, looks like the comedian turned actor will now have to seriously pull his socks before it gets too late.
