Salman Khan recently made an unsavoury comment about feeling like a “raped woman” during the wrestling shoots for Sultan, and the social media world rightly came down on him with some serious outrage.

Yet, for some reason, Pooja Bedi decided to come to Khan’s defence on Twitter that attempts to justify his ignorance and insensitivity. But apart from making her sound ridiculously illogical, it only ends up highlighting the very issue in question!

 

 

 

What Bedi says raises a question that everyone offended by Salman’s comments has on their minds.

If the people of influence in our nation cannot understand what was wrong with his statement, do they deserve to be in a position of influence at all?
