It’s easy to judge Bollywood films. The stories are more or less generic, there is a sense of over-the-top dramatization, and the films have characters singing and dancing in perfect synchronisation. For the most part it is true too, but it’s not all that bad after all. It produces some good eggs too.
Films which are thought through, and actually have something original to say. Here are 18 times Bollywood actually said something insightful, which we might have overlooked:
