Radhika Apte Has A Special Birthday Tribute For Legendary Singer Asha Bhosle

Legendary singer Asha Bhosle will be turning 83 today. On this special occasion actress Radhika Apte came forward to give Asha Tai a tribute for her melodious years of contribution in Bollywood.

Asha Bhosle, sister of Nightingale of India ( Lata Mangeshkar), is known for her versatility and is among the most popular singer across generations with countless hit songs in various genres.

Hindustan Times report says, Veteran Singer will be given tribute by Apte who will be performing at a public event today on her popular songs from Namak Halaal ,Sagar and many more.

Phobia actress confirmed the news sharing her excitement” If there is one thing I am passionate about besides acting, it’s dancing. I am excited about paying tribute to someone like Asha Tai. I will be performing on some of her beautiful songs.” she told HT.

A source further reveals “Radhika is trained in contemporary dance. She took a professional course in dance form in London (UK). The actor will pay tribute to Ashaji by dancing on her popular tracks such as ‘Aaj rapat jaye to’ (Namak Halaal; 1982), ‘Jaane do na’ (Saagar; 1985), etc. Radhika will perform with choreographer Terence Lewis. The duo will showcase a mix of contemporary and Latin dance forms. The performance will take place on September 8.”

Radhika Apte will next be seen in a national award winning film Parched set to be released on 23rd September.
