The trailer for Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Saand Ki Aankh released and it is a biopic drama on the lives of sharpshooters and sisters-in-law Chandro and Prakashi Tomar.
The subject of the movie – the lives of Chandro and Prakashi – is equally interesting and inspiring, and the teaser does appear to do justice to their stories.
Taapsee plays the role of Prakashi Tomar and Bhumi is essaying the role of Chandro Tomar. The movie also stars Vineet Kumar Singh as their coach Dr. Rajpal.
With their earlier movies and the brief teaser, it is not difficult to imagine Taapsee and Bhumi in the roles. However, it still begs the question that why were senior actors not selected to play the role of world’s oldest sharpshooters?
