After Salman Khan’s quote trivialising rape during a press interaction for his upcoming film Sultan went viral and sparked outrage, an audio clip from the event has now been released.
The clip suggests that Salman acknowledges his insensitive reference, and says, “I don’t think I should have.”

But how about an apology instead? It’s good that the actor figured out soon enough that he had made a huge mistake, but an apology should have been his response. In fact, the only person to apologise so far has been his father Salim Khan.
