The last episode of Sarabhai v/s Sarabhai was aired on television, 11 years ago and since then, the television series has achieved a cult status, unseen by any comedy show.

For years, fans have desperately waited for the show to come back and their wish has been finally fulfilled after the announcement of the new web series on Hotstar.

The shoot for the show has started already and with a seven year leap, we will see some new faces on the show including Monisha and Sahil’s son.

While that was enough to get us excited, as per a report in DNA, the show might come back on television as well.

The report states, “The makers are pondering whether they should also bring it back on TV. They will soon take a call on it.”

This reportedly happened after the Facebook live with the cast of the show that got an overwhelming response from the audience.

As per the report, “It crossed 2.4 million views within 24 hours! It shows that the serial starring Satish Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, Sumeet Raghavan, Rupali Ganguly and Rajesh Kumar has a lot of nostalgia attached to it and people can’t wait to revisit it. Right now, it is planned as a 10-episode web series with a seven-year leap in the show.”

Surely, if the series comes back on TV, there will be a larger audience to witness the comeback of one of the most loved shows.
