Popular television actor Shilpa Shinde has won Bigg Boss 11.
The actor beat Hina Khan and producer Vikas Gupta to bring home the trophy.
She will reportedly receive a cash prize of Rs 44 lakh along with the Bigg Boss trophy.
Shilpa Shinde, popular for her stint in the television show, Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai, was touted as one of the strongest contenders right from the beginning, and got umpteen support from her fans outside.
The grand finale which was aired tonight, saw a special appearance from actor Akshay Kumar. The actor who was there to promote his latest movie, Padman, also performed on stage with Salman and Bigg Boss contestant, Dhinchak Pooja.
Yes, Akshay Kumar and Salman rode a scooter with Dhinchak Pooja.
Akshay also took the opportunity to let the world know about the superman behind his movie, and highlight the issue of menstruation in the country.
Shilpa started her career almost 18 years ago on Indian TV. But her most notable stint was on popular show Bhabhiji… where she essayed the role of Angoori Bhabhi. A run in with the producer and her ouster from the show, to a large extent is said to be instrumental in her foray into and popularity in Bigg Boss.
