Asima is a boundary-breaking vocal and percussion ensemble from Trivandrum, Kerala. Recently, they took a popular traditional hymn in praise to Lord Shiva and gave it the ultimate jazz treatment. Clad in their distinctive white mundus, the vocal and percussion ensemble charms yet again with this upbeat composition by Devissaro, an Australian born musician who has lived in India since 1980.
