This Short Film Starring Tisca Chopra & Anurag Kashyap Tackles Infidelity In A Whole New Way

Short films have gained momentum in India in recent times and have been reflecting on strong social issues and bitter truths of our nation which are seldom talked about on a large scale.

This time, the short film ‘Chhuri‘ directed by Mansi Jain brings to light the dynamics of a household with a cheating spouse.

Starring Tisca Chopra, Anurag Kashyap and Surveen Chawla, the film showcases how a dutiful wife who’s expected to turn a blind eye to her husband’s extra-marital affair handles the situation with tact.

Tisca Chopra, who has been shouldering such roles with much conviction and elegance, confronts the ‘other woman’ instead of her husband and delivers the message that she is not naive.

Instead of getting dramatic, she kills it with her sharp politeness.
