And now he is back with another apparently intelligent and humorous drama, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan that deals with same-sex love stories.
The brief introductory teaser talks about how, in the long history of famous love stories, same-sex love stories got lost in time. However, now it’s time to bring those same stories to the forefront.
While movies like Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga and Kapoor & Sons introduced mainstream LGBTQI characters, there is definitely a need and space for far more stories. And we sure as hell are rooting for this one!
