After A Long Battle With Cancer, ‘Peepli Live’ Actor Sitaram Panchal Passes Away

After a long battle with kidney and lung cancer, veteran actor Sitaram Panchal passed away earlier this morning.

Sitaram Panchal had been suffering from cancer for the past three years and was completely bed ridden for the past 10 months. A few weeks ago, he had reached out for monetary help via Facebook. Cine & TV Artistes Association (CINTAA) had also appealed to people through to gather finances for the actor.

In fact, the Haryana government came forward to aid the actor and many other members of the film industry had also offered their support.

Sitaram Panchal was last seen in Jolly LLB 2 (2017). He had earlier featured in a lot of popular films like Peepli Live, Paan Singh Tomar, Slumdog Millionaire andThe Legend of Bhagat Singh among others.

It was only yesterday that the actor celebrated his 26th wedding anniversary with his wife, Uma Panchal. His son, Rishabh Panchal, had shared a picture of the family on Facebook to celebrate the occasion.
