For Indians, the much-awaited moment of the Cannes Film Festival was finally over on Sunday evening as the Bollywood fashionista Sonam Kapoor strutted her way to the coveted red carpet in an embellished blush pink outfit, designed by Elie Saab.
Styled by her sister, Rhea Kapoor, the 31-year-old actress looked desirably pretty and radiant as hell in a deep round neck and a long trail-sleeved attire.
Along with a messy hair bun, the minimal make-up by her friend-artist Namrata Soni, enhanced the beauty of the actress.
While Sonam paired her fish-cut gown with a long western danglers to look like a vision on day one of the illustrious event, giving an Indian touch was the custom made ‘Haath Phool’ by Kalyan jewellery.
Before heading out, she had a photoshoot at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Cannes.
Earlier in the day, Sonam Kapoor went all ‘Desi’ with a unicorn coloured saree for the interaction round with the international media.
Sonam Kapoor will once again be seen taking over the red carpet on Monday as L’Oreal Paris India brand ambassador.
