Do you remember this child actor who played Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta’s son in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna?

Or this little child from the horror film Vaastu Shastra who scared the shit out of you?

You also saw him being the adorable friend to Lord Ganesha in My Friend Ganesha. 

Well, this child is all grown up now and looks like this:

That’s right, Meet Ahsaas Channa, who is actually a girl. A gorgeous, multi-talented girl. 

Ahsaas started acting at a very young age and was noticed by everyone in her first movie, Vaastu Shastra, where she played a young boy who creeps the hell out of everyone. She was just 4 then. That’s quite a lot of talent for such a young age.

But why did she take up roles of boys? Talking to ScoopWhoop, she said: 

“I knew that it was just acting and everyone around me was aware that I was a girl.”

She was really popular by the time she acted in the film, My Friend Ganesha, but then made a conscious decision to start taking up girl characters.

She was first seen playing a girl character when she was 7 in popular TV show, Kasamh Se.

And she hasn’t looked back ever since. The list of TV shows she’s done is endless – Gumrah, Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev, Webbed and Fanaah are just some of the shows she has worked in.

More recently, she was seen in Girliyapa’s, The Period Song, and the video has been doing the rounds of the Internet.

Ahsaas has surely grown up into a beautiful, young woman and we can’t wait to see her in more films and TV shows.
