For months now, the makers of Sultan have been taunting us with posters, teasers and the prep videos. Thanks to the hype on social media, Sultan is now one of the most awaited Bollywood movies of 2016.
The teaser got us excited to see Salman Khan in a role we have never seen him in. Top that up with Anushka Sharma’s rigorous ‘dhobi-pachhaad’ preparation for the role of a female wrestler and we have millions of Indians excited for the movie.
The trailer promises to be a legitimate sports drama, much like Chak De! India.

Looks like there was a reason why everyone’s calling it the most-awaited film of 2016. Sultan releases on Eid, July 6, 2016.
Let’s hope the film isn’t as predictable as its Eid release date.
