While everyone was busy congratulating Casey Affleck for his Academy Award win, Hollywood veteran Samuel L Jackson said the little star from India, Sunny Pawar, deserved the best actor trophy.
The 68-year-old star took to Instagram to express his opinion by posting a photo with the 8-year old Mumbai boy, who played the young Saroo Brierley in Garth Davis’s Lion.
Sunny also shared a memorable moment with host Jimmy Kimmel when he picked him to recreate the signature scene from The Lion King.

Pawar, dressed in a black tuxedo paired with green and yellow sneakers was also spotted being taken care by none other than his co-star Dev Patel.
