Megastar Rajinikanth has sent his wishes to his ‘2.0’ co-star Akshay Kumar for his upcoming thriller ‘Rustom’.
The movie is set to release this Friday. It is based on the real-life incident of Naval Officer K M Nanavati, who was tried for the murder of his wife’s lover.
Here is the tweet by Superstar Rajnikanth wishing him all the success:
‘Rustom’, directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, also stars Ileana D’Cruz and Esha Gupta. It will compete at the box-office with Hrithik Roshan-starrer ‘Mohenjo Daro’.
Rajinikanth is not the first celebrity to tweet about “Rustom“. Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh and Sonam Kapoor among others earlier made short videos to promote the film.
Rajinikanth and Akshay, 48, will share screen space for the first time in the sequel to ‘Robot’ (2010). Directed by Shankar, “2.0” which is expected to hit theaters in 2017.
