Censor Board over the years may have been attempting at preserving the ‘Indian Culture’, as pointed out by Pahlaj Nihalani earlier in context of denying certificate to a film or banning or chopping a specific scene for that matter. But, cyber crime has seemingly been acting as a hindrance for them.
Recently, CBFC demanded some steamy scenes to be dropped from Swara Bashkar’s controversial upcoming film Anaarkali of Aarah. However, they have already been leaked online and is now going viral on the web.
This is not the first time that a steamy scene from a film has gone viral even before its release.
Earlier, certain chopped clips of Actress Radhika Apte from her film Parched were also leaked online.
Social media also feasted on Apte’s dropped scenes from Manjhi.
Talking about movies, a full high quality uncensored version of Inder Kumar’s ‘Great Grand Masti’ was leaked online ahead of its release.
Apart from this, films like Raaz Reboot starring Emran Hashmi and Udta Punjab, featuring Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the main lead, were also among those leaked online.
