The New Version Of ‘Jungle Jungle Baat Chali Hai’ Is Here & It’s Taking Us Back To Our Childhood

Sampada Sharma

The generation that grew up in the 90s sang along the lyrics of Jungle Jungle Baat Chali Hai every time it played on TV. Even the slightest reference of Mowgli gets us excited and we end up humming the song we so adored in our childhood. The upcoming release of Jon Favreau’s The Jungle Book has brought back memories of Mowgli, Bagheera, Sher Khan and various other characters that filled our childhood with the fascinating jungle life.

To add to the nostalgia, the famous duo of Vishal Bhardwaj and Gulzar, who created the original track for the TV series, have recreated the song for the film and it is taking us right back to the time when Sunday mornings were reserved for Mowgli.
