Akshay Kumar’s second film of the year, after Jolly LLB 2, has a strange title. The name Toilet – Ek Prem Katha might irk many but the film has a message that goes in sync with the government’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

The film also stars Bhumi Pednekar, who was previously seen in the 2015 film, Dum Laga Ke Haisha. The film is being directed by debutante director Shree Narayan Singh who has edited films like A Wednesday (2008), Special 26 (2013) and Rustom (2016) amongst many others.
