Jolly LLB was a classic case of a humble, low-budget film soaring at the box-office thanks to sheer good content. The film’s unprecedented success led to the most obvious next step by the makers, turning it into a franchise.
3 years after the first film, Jolly LL.B 2, starring Akshay Kumar in the lead, is all set to hit theatres. With a strong ensemble cast of Huma Qureshi, Annu Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla, the film looks like an interesting mix of characters who run into hilarious situations.
But the plot isn’t all fun & games.
From the trailer it looks like the lead character is offered a case that will change his approach towards law and life which, honestly, is a little reminiscent of Kyo Kii… Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta (BTW, that’s a compliment).
