Based On A Shakespearean Tragedy, The Trailer Of ‘The Hungry’ Looks Hauntingly Beautiful

Every time a Shakespearean classic is adapted into a movie by some or the other Bollywood filmmaker, The Bard’s fans are hoping for a film that lives up to its source.

Thankfully, it’s all been good so far. And looking at the trailer of The Hungry, the newest adaptation of yet-another work of Shakespeare, we can be rest assured that things are only looking up.

Directed by Bornila Chatterjee, The Hungry is an adaption of Titus Andronicus and stars Naseeruddin Shah and Tisca Chopra in the lead roles along with Sayani Gupta, Neeraj Kabi, Arjun Gupta and Suraj Sharma. 

Packed with a powerhouse star-cast, the film was first screened at the Toronto International Film Festival, earlier this year.
