The trailer for the latest film from the Pirates of the Caribbean series is out and it looks like the franchise is in good hands. There’s a lot to be excited about this fifth instalment whose trailer playing Johnny Cash’s ‘Ain’t No Grave’ seems to suggest that the franchise is aiming for a grittier tone in their latest film.
Also, the film has actor extraordinaire Javier Bardem playing the role of Capitan Salazar, who has come back after escaping The Devil’s Triangle. The film revolves around Jack Sparrow (the eccentric pirate played again by Johnny Depp) and Salazar both seeking the ‘Trident of Poseidon’ which will give them complete control of the seas.
The franchise worth more than three and half billion dollars started in 2003 with The Curse Of Black Pearl with a cast including Depp, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley and Geoffrey Rush all of whom seem to be reprising the characters. The movie hits the big screens on May 26, 2017. Check out the trailer here:
