Branding itself as #imnotaCHICKflick, the Veere Di Wedding trailer came out today. And we finally have a movie that celebrates female friendship in all its glory.
Starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania, the movie is a story of four best friends going through different phases in their lives. They come together to celebrate the big fat Indian wedding of the character played by Kareena.
The movie also stars Sumeet Vyas as Kareena’s love interest.
Showcasing the grandiosity and the drama that comes with an Indian wedding (that gets cancelled) and some not-so-innocent jokes, the trailer is definitely a fun watch.
The film also stars Manoj Pahwa and Ayesha Raza Mishra as Sumeet’s parents and Neena Gupta as Sonam’s Mother.
