Manish Harishankar’s upcoming film Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laddoo Deewana has found itself in some trouble.
The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) supporters on Monday protested outside the film producer T P Aggarwal’s office over a particular scene in the movie.
According to VHP, there’s a particular moment in the film where a pregnant woman gets married to another man and this according to the protestors can hurt Hindu religious sentiments.
IANS reports that over 70-80 protestors gathered outside Aggarwal’s office in Mumbai and demanded that the scene be deleted from the movie.
However, Aggarwal asserted that he will not make any edit to the movie and added that the film has already been passed by the CBFC with a U/A certificate.
Slated for release this Friday, the movie features Naseeruddin Shah’s son Vivaan and Kamal Hassan’s daughter Akshara.
