‘Chhoti Si Baat’ And ‘Rajnigandha’ Actor, Vidya Sinha Passes Away At 71

Pati, Patni Aur Woh fame, Vidya Sinha, passed away due to respiratory failure, yesterday at 71.

Last week she was put on the ventilator at the CritiCare Hospital in Mumbai, as she complained of breathlessness.

She was kept under observation in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and then put on a PAP (Positive Airway Pressure) ventilator.

The veteran actress had been diagnosed with heart and lung disorder and her condition worsened in the past three months.

She started her career at the age of 18 as a model and was crowned Miss Bombay. In a span of 10 years, she acted in 30 films, including Rajnigandha (1974) and Chhoti Si Baat (1975). After her hiatus from the film industry, she was last seen in the Salman Khan-starrer, Bodyguard.
